1 # Norms 2 3 ## Features 4 5 ### Norm and Version Creation 6 7 SGOC enables the creation of norms and their respective versions. A norm represents a set of rules or standards that define specific requirements for certification. In SGOC case, Common Criteria. By creating norms, you can establish the criteria against which dossiers and TOEs will be evaluated. Multiple versions of a norm can be created to accommodate changes or updates to the requirements over time. 8 9 ### Scope Definition using Available Components 10 11 For each norm version, SGOC allows you to define scopes. A scope represents a subset of the norm requirements that are applicable to a specific TOE or dossier. SGOC provides a list of available components that can be selected to define the scope. These components are aligned with the norm requirements, ensuring accurate scoping of certifications. 12 13 ### Assignment of Norms, Versions, and Scopes 14 15 SGOC facilitates the assignment of norms, versions, and scopes to dossiers and TOEs. You can associate specific norms and their versions with dossiers based on their compliance requirements. Additionally, you can assign scopes to individual dossiers or TOEs, ensuring that the applicable subset of norm requirements is considered during the certification process. This feature allows for efficient management and tracking of certifications within SGOC. 16 17 ## Get started 18 19 From the Norm view, the user can access all the creation and management for norms, versions, scopes and components. 20 Then they can be assigned to dossiers and toes by the usual methods.
