 9  He hangs up his jacket in a cupboard, and hangs up his keys in a small
10  key cupboard, on a hook marked “Carl's keyring”. Other hooks are
11  also marked similarly.

13  Carl then walks into the living room and sees his father.

16  >> Hey, what's this, father?

18  Vera sneaks up behind Carl, grabs him by the hair, and puts a kitchen
19  knife on his throat.

22  >> Be very quiet or I'll hurt you.

25  >> What wrong with my father?

27  > VERA
28  >> Nothing. I just gave him some sleeping pills.

31  >> What's going on?

34  >> Shut up. You will do exactly as I say. If you don't, I'll hurt you,
35  >> and I'll hurt your father. I'm bigger and stronger than you, you know
36  >> you can't stop me.

46  Carl obeys, and Vera ties his hands with a tie wrap. She then drags him
47  up and along from one arm, half-carrying him down the stairs to the
48  basement.
