IT REALLY WHIPS THE PENGUIN'S ASS

Linamp is the love child of Winamp and Midnight Commander, two of the greatest applications ever written. It's delightfully minimalistic, yet surprisingly robust. It'll run in yer terminal. It'll play internet radio streams AND files from your local music library. (That's quite the collection of legally-backed-up CDs and public domain music you've got!) Best of all, it's free and open-source, so you can tweak it to your heart's content.

THIS PROJECT IS IN A VERY EARLY ALPHA STATE. 

Development is actively ongoing. You can certainly *try* to run it on yer own hardware, but I make absolutely no guarantees that it will work. If and when it does break in some new and exciting way, email me on [devs@neroots.net](mailto:devs@neroots.net) and let me know what it did.
